Does a married woman shorten her prayer if she travels to her mother’s house 48 miles away?

If a married woman goes to her mother’s house for a visit and it is more than 48 miles from her husband’s home, does she pray qasr or the full prayer?

الجواب حامدا ومصليا ومسلما

Once a woman moves to her husband’s house, it becomes her permanent residence. Thus, if she were to travel anywhere 48 miles away or more, she will perform qasr on her journey. Thereafter, if she resides there for less than 15 days, she will continue to perform qasr. 

Thus, in the aforementioned scenario if her parents’ home is at a distance of 48 miles or more and she intends to stay for less than 15 days, she will perform qasr.
