Sweeping one’s bed before sleeping

Assalamualaikum

I’ve heard it is sunnah to sweep one’s bed three times before sleeping, how should this be done?

In reference to your question, the correct method of fulfilling the sunnah is to sweep the bed with a piece of cloth or a garment. If one’s hands are used due to not having a piece of cloth, insha Allah the sunnah would still be fulfilled.
