As salaamu ’alaykum,

Is there any virtue in reciting Surah Mulk at night?

 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الجواب حامدا ومصليا ومسلما

There are many ahaadith which mention different virtues of Surah Mulk and how reciting it nightly was a prophetic practice. Consider the following:

Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم would not sleep until he recited Surah Sajdah and Surah Mulk.

(Tirmizi)

‘Abdullah bin Mas’ood (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, “Whoever recites Surah Mulk every night, Allah will protect him from the punishment of the grave.”

(Nasaai)
