Can people who have passed away come in dreams?

Can the people who have died come in dreams and speak to those who are alive?

In reference to your question, it is possible for Allah Ta’ala to allow one to see people who have passed away in their dreams. There are many examples of this in the books of history. Also consider the following hadith:

Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Whoever sees me in a dream, he has surely seen me. For verily, shaytaan cannot come in my form.”

(Bukhari)
