Going bankrupt after paying zakah

I disburse my zakah before the completion of the year and then 3 months later went bankrupt. Is there any way for me to obtain a refund on my zakah?

The zakah you paid is non-refundable. However, this amount may be calculated towards zakah which becomes due upon you in the future.
