Looking at satr of deceased

Do the rulings of Hijab become void after death and non mehram can see the women?

الجواب حامدا ومصليا ومسلما

In principle, all rulings of hijab and satr which apply during one’s lifetime are also applicable after death. Consider the following hadith:

‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Do not look at the thigh of any living or deceased person.”

(Abu Dawud)

The aforementioned hadith explicitly shows that the rules of satr also apply to a deceased. Therefore, it would not be permissible for any non-mahram to see the body of the deceased woman uncovered.
