Muslim women showing their hair to non Muslim women

Assalamu’alaikum,

We have learned the masla that it is impermissible for a woman to uncover her hair in front of non muslim women.  I have membership in a women’s gym where no males are allowed.  I have not been wearing hijab there because I find it extremely difficult to do so while exercising as I have a medical condition known as vasovagal syncope in which excess heat and dehydration can make me get very dizzy and even pass out.  Is it permissible for me to exercise without hijab due to my condition at this all women’s gym, or should I cancel my membership?

The aforementioned view is the stance of some ‘ulama. However, another opinion is that it is permissible for a woman to uncover her hair in front of non-Muslim women, although it is better for her not to do so. Consequently, it would be permissible for you to have your hair uncovered in the aforementioned scenario.
