Performing sajdah tilawah without reading the ayah

If a person performs sajdah while reciting the Quran during salah, even though such a verse has not been recited due to which sajdah becomes wajib, what is the condition of his salah?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الجواب حامدا ومصليا ومسلما

In the aforementioned scenario, an extra sajdah has been added to the salah, therefore, it will be wajib to perform sajdah sahw towards the end of the salah. If this is not done, it will be wajib to repeat the salah if the salah time remains. Otherwise, one is not required to make up for previous salahs he offered in such a manner.
