Reciting tashahud instead of qiraat

If a person stands up for the second rak’ah of salah and begins reading “at tahiyyaat” by accident instead of fatiha, will his salah break?

 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الجواب حامدا ومصليا ومسلما

In the aforementioned scenario, the salah will not become invalid. However, one would be required to perform sajdah sahw at the end of the salah since they delayed their recitation.
