Sharing hats and combs

assalamu’alaikum

I know it’s against the sunnah to share combs and hair brushes but is it also against sunnah to share topis?  I use the same topi for each of my sons as I teach them nazira turn by turn. Jazakamullahukhair

In reference to your question, neither is sharing combs/hair brushes contradictory to the sunnah, nor is sharing a topi (cap worn by Muslim men). Therefore, there is absolutely nothing wrong with children sharing a topi. However, each child should have his own topi and it should be worn throughout the day, for it is the attire of a Muslim as well as a sunnah.
