is it permissible for women/children to watch a family reality show on amazon instant video like 19 Kids and Counting? they are a christian family that believes in covering from the neck to the knees and adhere to biblical principles so the content is family friendly and educational on how to raise a large family.

In reference to your question, a Muslim should seek entertainment and education through means other than TV shows and movies since such shows would usually include music, seeing non-mahram women, and other factors which are not permitted in Islam.
