When is wudu necessary in hajj?

Dear Mufti Saheb:  Assalaamu Alaikum WRWB

Please describe the events during Hajj or Umra when it is a MUST to keep Wadoo.  If Wadoo breaks during any ritual, what should be done i.e. come out and do wadoo, and start it all over or start from the point it stopped during tawaf etc.  Jazakum Allah Khair.  Wassalaam.

It is only necessary to have wudhu during tawaaf. If one has completed four rounds of tawaaf and then breaks their wudhu, it would be necessary for them to make wudhu and continue from where they left off.

If one has only completed three rounds or less of tawaaf and then breaks their wudhu, they may continue from where they left off. However, in this case it would be preferred to restart  tawaaf anew.
